Sorrento, Italy

I should have uploaded these images about 4 weeks ago but I was enjoying the summer holidays too much.

My boyfriend and I went on vacation to Sorrento, Italy.

This was the beautiful apartment we stayed at. It had two balconies and overlooked a lemon grove.

This is a bikini I bought from Topshop, I'm trying to not make anymore purchases from this shop as it's too expensive but I couldn't resist this.

A lovely street we walked down on the second day.

We walked down this road on the first day, looking for a beach. There was no pavement, and on the turns the cars were getting so close.

We spent most of our time in this lovely street. Most of the gifts/souvenirs we bought back were from here.

Sorrento is well known for woodwork, they even have a wood museum. I bought way too much from this shop. Quite expensive as well.

I don't really have much to say about Italian food, I didn't enjoy anything I ate from Sorrento. It was all authentic too, no British places. I tried my best to try lots of different things but mostly ended up eating junk food.

In one place we both asked for a toasted sandwich, cold and an hour and a half later it arrived. Most of the time we spent 30 euro on two small meals, which is just a ridiculous price. We ate at one place which looked like it was funded by drug money, typical Italian mafia men walked in and out, shirts unbuttoned, gold chains and everything.

This street was filled with designer outlets and had one of the hugest churches I have ever seen. I was tempted to visit a church but I never had anything to cover myself up with.

We sat at decorative stone benches, typical English people having to take a break from the heat every two minutes. I decided to snap some photos.

A nice shot overlooking Sorrento.

This beautiful hideaway was in the grounds of a museum which we later found out was private. Oops.

Sorrento doesn't have any beaches, as you can tell it's surrounded by cliffs. These are man-made beaches that we really wanted to visit but couldn't find a way down. I really would have loved to swim in that water.

A photo we took of this enormous cruise ship and Mount Vesuvius in the background. I really love this picture.

Sorrento decorative street motifs. It was hard to get this photo as it was mid-day and pretty busy.

Last day, when we got kicked out of our hotel 4 hours before our flight. We decided to take some more photos and enjoy the scenery. We also befriended a little cat whilst sitting here.

My boyfriend took these photos on his iPhone. Really nice camera to take the odd photo with.

This fan never left my side during the whole time in Sorrento, I will hang it on my wall as a memory of our time there.

Tasso square, constantly busy. My boyfriend hadn't noticed the Germans glaring at him taking the photo.
Some more cliffs/rock pools!!
